According to UpRoxx, the new trailer for Captain Marvel proves this isn't your average superhero movie. A historic first for the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Captain Marvel played by Brie Larson isn’t your average superhero either. According to Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige, she’s “as powerful a character as we’ve ever put in a movie". Larson, who won an Academy Award for her performance in Room, plays the titular role alongside costars Samuel L. Jackson, Jude Law and Ben Mendelsohn.
