A North Carolina man who was out picking up burgers and chicken nuggets for his kids came home $200,000 richer. The North Carolina Education Lottery reports that Edward Rackley stopped and bought a lottery ticket then headed to McDonald's. "I had ordered 50 chicken nuggets and four plain hamburgers," Rackley told the lottery officials. "I figured while I was waiting, I might as well start scratching." He did just that and revealed that his ticket was a big winner, but it took him a while to believe what he was seeing. Rackley ended up asking the McDonald's employee for verification, and, he recalls, "She confirmed it. I was, in fact, seeing it right." He said he plans to use the money to fix his car and "support his children." "I know one thing," Rackley also noted. "Santa will be good to them this year."
