According to Reuters, an interstate highway running through California is open again.
A massive wildfire in northern California forced authorities to close Interstate 5 in both directions.
The Delta Fire is burning about 250 miles north of San Francisco, near the border with Oregon.
So far, the blaze has charred 47,000 acres of dry mountain timber near the Shasta-Trinity National Forest.
The fire sparked on Sept. 5th in a canyon along the Sacramento River.
