Supreme Court has sought the government's response to the SC ST law. Demand for immediate ban on the amendments in the law. But Justice AK Sikri and Ashok Bhushan refused this. The judges said that they will not order the order without hearing the favor of the government. The court has given the government 6 weeks to respond.

सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने एससी एसटी कानून को लेकर सरकार से जवाब मांगा है । कानून में हुए संशोधन पर तुरंत रोक लगाने की मांग की. लेकिन जस्टिस ए के सीकरी और अशोक भूषण ने इससे मना कर दिया. जजों ने कहा कि वो सरकार का पक्ष सुने बिना रोक का आदेश नहीं देंगे. कोर्ट ने सरकार को जवाब देने के लिए 6 हफ्ते का समय दिया है.
