According to a report by Reuters, on Thursday, India's top court scrapped a ban on gay sex, in a landmark judgement that sparked celebrations across India. However, the ruling may face a legal challenge from groups that claim gay sex erodes traditional values. Chief Justice of India, Dipak Misra, said, "Any consensual sexual relationship between two consenting adults - homosexuals, heterosexuals or lesbians - cannot be said to be unconstitutional.
