Multiple Olympic champion short track speed skater, and a Russian national, Viktor Ahn has reportedly decided to wrap up his skating career and return to South Korea,... his home country.
Citing the president of the Russian Speed Skating Union,... the TASS News Agency said Wednesday that Ahn had been expected to become the head coach of the Russian national team,... but decided to move back to South Korea due to family reasons.
Ahn is a six-time Olympic gold medalist and was granted Russian citizenship in 2011,... when he decided to leave the South Korean team following conflicts with the the coaching staff.
