A calf born with two heads and three eyes has surprised locals in the south Indian city of Thanjavur.

Vets initially predicted that the creature would not survive, but it has already lasted a week, leading locals to deem it a miracle calf.

People are now visiting in droves from nearby villages just to see the calf.

Cows are sacred among the Hindu majority in the country.

While the cow has survived so far, it is rare for animals like this to live for very long.
