An Emirates flight from Dubai was quarantined at John F Kennedy airport, New York, on September 5 after around 100 passengers reported feeling ill, said local media.

Emirates Air Flight 204 was due to be met by members of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and Port Authority Police at the airport.

NBC New York reported that three people were taken to hospital.
