Use ‘Scheduled Caste’, not ‘Dalit’: I&B Ministry to news channels . Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has asked all the media institutions to replace the Dalit term with the constitutional word Scheduled Caste. The central government has cited the Bombay High Court's verdict while declaring this order.
