Jeff Goldblum has a new role as a smooth-talking doctor in the film “The Mountain.” According to Reuters, the role is based off of real-life lobotomist Walter Freemanan. This evangelist would hammer spikes into patient’s brain through their eye sockets. Goldblum said his character drinks and womanizes “for distraction.” Writer and director Rick Alverson said the film is “anti-utopian.”
