Former Vice President Joe Biden on Monday stressed how important the midterm elections are for the Democratic party, reports The Hill. Just before marching in a Labor Day parade in Pittsburgh, Biden was asked what's at stake come November. According to a Politico reporter, he replied, "Everything. It's simple: everything." "We're in a fight for the soul of America. It's about time we restored dignity to work, it's about time we start talking to each other like we're civilized, and deal with one another with respect," Biden also said. President Trump, however, is predicting a "red wave" in November.
"As long as I campaign and/or support Senate and House candidates (within reason), they will win! I LOVE the people, & they certainly seem to like the job I'm doing. If I find the time, in between China, Iran, the Economy and much more, which I must, we will have a giant Red Wave!" Trump tweeted in early August.
