It often seems that our climbing news is filled with teenagers accomplishing things that the rest of us can only dream of. A lot of these 'kid crushers' seem to hail from America, but our show today focuses on an impressive young climber from the other side of the pond. At just 14 years old, Rhys Langlands has leaped through the grades, climbing 'The Force' (8b/5.13d) at Brin Rock in Scotland. Rhys had previously redpointed 7b+, so this ascent is quite a leap through the grades. We caught a word with Rhys (and his chief belayer, his dad Pete) to find out a little more about the ascent.
