Today we’ve got some big news from competition climber Sachi Amma. After previously climbing four 9a+’s he’s broken the 9b barrier by repeating Chris Sharma’s “Fight or Flight” at Oliana. It took him four trips spread over two years and more than 30 attempts but he finally nailed it, claiming that having done so “makes him bigger as a human”.

Next we’re back with our regular feature of Pro-Down and today we’re asking the guys who their climbing hero is.

As a final feature today we’ve got a random video of friend of the show Robbie Philips falling off the slab climb 'Peak Technique' (E6 6b) at Back Bowden Doors in Northumberland. The good news is that Robbie got away with a bruise and was back climbing that very night.

One last thing before we go, just a quick reminder about the Banana Fingers deal of the week. If you go to bananafingers.co.uk and buy a pair of Moon Skink Jeans, they will chuck in a Moon Pullover Hoody, worth 50 pounds, absolutely free.
