A group of visually-impaired devotees celebrated Janmashtami festival with full fervor in Mumbai. They also participated in Dahi Handi procession. They formed human pyramid on the occasion to celebrate Lord Krishna’s birth anniversary. The festival is being celebrated with full enthusiasm across the country. Janmashtami is a celebration of Lord Krishna’s birth. One of the events that devotees look forward to is the Dahi Handi competitions. Reenacting how Lord Krishna used to steal butter as a child, hordes of young men prepare year round to make human pyramids to reach and break a pot of butter suspended high in the air.
