Asian games is over now. The Closing ceremony will take place on 2nd September. This was one of the best Asian Games so far in Indian History bagging 69 medals including 15 golds. Indian placed on 8th position in Medal tally. भारत ने जकार्ता में हो रहे एशियन गेम्स के 14वें दिन 2 गोल्ड और 1 सिल्वर मेडल और एक अपनी झोली में डाल लिए। इसके साथ ही भारत के मेडलों की संख्या 15 गोल्ड और 24 सिल्वर मेडल समेत 69 हो गई है। टूर्नामेंट में 8वें नंबर पर मौजूद भारत का एशियन गेम्स के इतिहास में अब तक का यह सर्वश्रेष्ठ प्रदर्शन है। इससे पहले भारत ने 2010 में चीन के ग्वांगझू में हुए एशियन गेम्स में 65 मेडल हासिल कर सर्वश्रेष्ठ प्रदर्शन किया था।
