Petrol and diesel prices hit a new record high in four metros across the country on Saturday. The prices of both petrol and diesel were raised by the Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) today. Petrol is selling at a price of Rs. 78.68 per litre in Delhi today.

పెట్రోల్‌, డీజిల్‌ ధరలు మరోసారి రికార్డు స్థాయిలో పెరిగుదల నమోదు చేశాయి.. ముడిచమురు ధరలు పెరగడం, రూపాయి పతనమవడంతో దేశీయ మార్కెట్లో పెట్రోల్‌, డీజిల్‌ ధరలు ఆకాశాన్నంటుతున్నాయి. శుక్రవారం జీవనకాల గరిష్ఠానికి పెరిగిని డీజిల్ ధరలు శనివారం మరోసారి పెరుగుదలను నమోదు చేశాయి.
మరోవైపు పెట్రోల్‌ ధరలు కూడా శనివారం జీవనకాల గరిష్ఠాన్ని తాకాయి. దేశ రాజధాని న్యూఢిల్లీలో శనివారం లీటర్ పెట్రోల్‌ ధర 16 పైసలు పెరిగి రూ. 78.68గా ఉంది. లీటర్‌ డీజిల్ ధర 21 పైసలు పెరిగి రూ. 70.42గా ఉంది. లీటర్ పెట్రోల్‌ ధర ముంబైలో రూ. 86.09, కోల్‌కతాలో రూ. 81.60, చెన్నైలోని 81.72గా ఉంది.
