Blood Pressure Med Recalled for 'Life-Threatening' Label Mixup A medication bottle that was supposed to contain hydrochlorothiazide tablets was found to contain spironolactone tablets instead. The discovery prompted a voluntary recall by Accord Healthcare Inc. Both medication work as a diuretic but are used to treat different ailments. According to the FDA, Hydrochlorothiazide tablets are round and orange or peach in color. The FDA recommends that if a person's pills do not match this description, they should check with their pharmacist. There have been no reports of detrimental incidents related
to this recall.
