The Inland Empire 66ers and Rancho Cucamonga Quakes came up with an unusual way to keep themselves entertained after the lights went out during their August 26 clash at San Manuel Stadium in San Bernardino, California.
A video shared to Twitter by Jerry Espinoza shows the two Minor League Baseball teams enjoying a game of tic-tac-toe from the dugout — using a baseball in lieu of a sheet of paper.
Quakes players can be seen marking the ball with their move, before throwing it over to their opponents in the other dugout.
“Lights went out bottom 2nd so the Quakes and 66ers are playing tic tac toe from dugout to dugout,” Espinoza wrote alongside his tweet, which had over 500 likes at the time of writing. Credit: Jerry Espinoza via Storyful
