been reported is that Smith's character
has a "key role" in the upcoming film. In addition to his multi-year run as the Eleventh Doctor on BBC's 'Doctor Who,'
Smith also earned an Emmy nomination
for his acting in 'The Crown.' Star Wars: Episode IX is
scheduled to be released
in December 2019.
