Taylor Swift paid tribute to the late Aretha Franklin on Tuesday, August 28, during a concert in the soul legend’s hometown of Detroit.
In clips shared online by fans, Swift spoke about Franklin’s impact on music, and her fight for feminism and civil rights, before asking the thousands attending the concert, in Ford Field, to join her in a moment of silence.
