According to Reuters, the S&P 500 and Nasdaq set new all-time highs for a third consecutive session.
On August 28th, US stocks opened to flat morning, after reaching some record highs the day before.
But towards the afternoon, the S&P and Nasdaq made some gains that pushed them closer to closing at new all-time highs.
The S&P is only a few points under it's peak-high set on August 27th, when the benchmark index broke 2,900 for the first time, but the benchmark index closed the day at a new high.
