In the current phase, the BJP's equation seems to be disturbed in the states of the North, in which the party has joined the 'Mission South Coalition' to compensate the loss. In the 2014 Parliamentary elections, BJP won only 20 seats from these states. This is the reason why the BJP has made special focus on the Lok Sabha seats of these southern states.
