Farmers in Western Highlands Province are calling on relevant authorities to provide water to their farms.

The farmers from Kuk Valley, the place where farming began on this planet, according to archaeologists, said water is the biggest impediment that is affecting their work.

They are calling on their local MP William Duma to look into their plight and connect water to their farms.

The farmers also raised concerns that awareness should be made on what chemicals to use on their farms so they will not be held liable for what people consume.
