Staying with the Asian Games in Indonesia,.... South Korea had a "Golden Friday",... adding seven more gold medals to its tally.
Team Korea's impressive day helped the country narrow the gap with Japan in the medal standings, but South Korea remains in third for now.
Our Won Jung-hwan has this story.
Seven gold medals for South Korea on Day 7 of the Asian Games.
The day's first gold came in rowing.
Park Hyun-su captured the lightweight men's single sculls title in a time of seven minutes 12-point-eight-six seconds.
Dominating the event,... Park finished more than a minute ahead of the runner up.
It was South Korea's first gold medal in rowing at this year's Asian Games,… following the three silvers and one bronze collected the previous day.

In the afternoon, cyclist Na Ah-reum made history with her gold medal winning performance in the women's individual time trial.
She won a very tight race,.. beating her closest rival by less than a fifth of a second after the 18-point-seven kilometer race.
Na is fast making a name for herself after becoming the first cyclist in Asian Games history to win both the road event and the time trial in the same year.
She also became South Korea's second double gold medalist at this year's Asian Games,… joining male sabre fencer Gu Bon-gil.

In the pool, swimmer Kim Seo-yeong was crowned queen of the women's 200-meter individual medley, with an Asian Games record of two-minutes-eight-point-three-four seconds.
Kim's victory was South Korea's first Asiad swimming gold medal since 2010, when Park Tae-hwan and Jeong Da-rae won golds at Guangzhou.

The fencing competition ended on Friday with South Korea winning the very last title, the men's team foil.
They defeated Hong Kong 45-to-37,… capturing South Korea's first Asiad gold in this event since 1994.
South Korea, which aimed to win eight gold medals in fencing,... ended with six golds, three silvers and six bronze medals.

Over at Palembang, the co-host city,… South Korea won two gold medals in shooting.
Choi Young-jeon became the inaugural champion of the men's 300-meter standard rifle event.
Jeong You-jin won gold in the men's ten-meter running target event.
Also in Palembang, the women's bowling team won gold in the Team of Six event. The South Korean team beat Malaysia by nearly 190 points.
