Former White House aide Omarosa Manigault Newman suggested on Tuesday that the guilty plea submitted by former Trump attorney Michael Cohen is "the beginning of the end" for the president.  In an appearance on MSNBC's 'Hardball' Omarosa said, "Today changed everything. This is the beginning of the end for Donald Trump."
"He knows that the person who knows everything about him, about his relationship with these women, and others that people may not know about will come to light," she further noted. The Washington Examiner reports that her comment was made just hours after Cohen admitted to a number of crimes and said that a federal candidate, presumed to be Trump, had directed him to commit a violation of campaign finance law.   Omarosa has become a more vocal and present Trump detractor since the release of her book, "Unhinged: An Insider's Account of the Trump White House."  In it, she touches upon first daughter Ivanka Trump's reportedly "obsessive" "bemoaning" over an unflattering Saturday Night Live portrayal of her, Education Secretary Betsy DeVos allegedly insulting the intelligence of black students at Bethune-Cookman University, and first lady Melania Trump purportedly wearing the infamous "don't care" jacket to "hurt" her husband.
Meanwhile, President Trump has also lashed out at Omarosa on a number of occasions.  His Twitter comments on the topic include, "Wacky Omarosa, who got fired 3 times on the Apprentice, now got fired for the last time. She never made it, never will. She begged me for a job, tears in her eyes, I said Ok. People in the White House hated her. She was vicious, but not smart." "When you give a crazed, crying lowlife a break, and give her a job at the White House, I guess it just didn't work out," Trump also tweeted. "Good work by General Kelly for quickly firing that dog!"
