The combined amount of South Korea's household credit, composed of mortgage loans and credit card spending,... remained above the one-point-three-trillion U.S. dollar mark in the second quarter.
The Bank of Korea released provisional figures on Thursday,... showing household credit during the April-to-June period rose nearly two percent compared to the previous quarter.
The central bank says,.... the rate of increase of household loans from banks, including mortgage loans... rose by more than eleven-point-four billion dollars.
Loans from non-banking institutions jumped by over two-point-three billion dollars.
