Transport Minister Anthony Loke declined to accept a Huawei smartphone presented by an event organiser as a token of appreciation.

Anthony said he cannot accept the gift as it is valued above RM500, he also reminded event organisers to not present such gifts in the future.

He was presented the gift at the launch of e-hailing service Diffride in Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur today.
