Scientists have linked ever-fashionable low-carb diets to shorter life expectancies in a study published in the journal The Lancet Public Health. Researchers discovered that who lived longest tended to eat a diet consisting of 50% carbohydrates. The team linked high-carb and low-carb diets to a slightly higher risk of death.
