President Trump's Sunday morning tweet drew numerous reactions over his media claim.

President Trump has been mocked on social media for tweeting Sunday, "Some members of the media are very Angry at the Fake Story in the New York Times. They actually called to complain and apologize - a big step forward. From the day I announced, the Times has been Fake News, and with their disgusting new Board Member, it will only get worse!"
He was likely referring to a Times piece from Saturday that said, "White House counsel, Donald F. McGahn II, has cooperated extensively in the special counsel investigation."
According to the report, the lawyer has spent about 30 hours telling Robert Mueller's team a surprising amount of inside information including about Trump's dismissal of former FBI Director James Comey and the president's efforts to fire Mueller himself.
Trump's tweet about the story was met with backlash on social media, with one person writing, "Notice how he never uses details or names instead he says things like 'some' or 'many' it's like he's making stuff up or something."
Another person also questioned the president's integrity, saying, "Oh right, representatives of other news outlets called you to apologize about the NYT story? Which ones? Name them, or stop lying."
Meanwhile, there were several references to Fox News as the media outlet Trump likely referenced, with someone tweeting, "Was that folks from @Foxnews? Because any reputable, thinking member of news media would never do that."
And another user responded to Trump, "Do tell. Name one. Sean Hannity and Lou Dobbs don't count."
