Indian Air Force team rescued a boy who was stranded on the rooftop of his terrace. The IAF team also dispatched relief materials in flood-hit regions of Kerala on Saturday. As Kerala struggles with flood situation due to havoc created by incessant rains, rescue and relief operations in the state are underway.

The devastating floods in the state have claimed over 300 lives in Kerala. Several states have provided assistance to Kerala in this time of catastrophe. Rescue teams and security personnel are conducting rescue operations round the clock.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi had earlier announced relief package of Rs 500 Crore for the state.
