The New York Times says it will be joining 200 American newspapers that will publish editorials denouncing President Trump's repeated attacks on the media.
The coordinated effort, being dubbed #EnemyOfNone, will be carried out on Thursday from large metropolitan dailies to small weekly papers.
Many of Trump's labels for the mainstream media include "fake news" and "enemy of the people."
His rhetoric and actions have been criticized as undermining the free press and even inciting violence against journalists.
