Floodwater surged into America’s largest mall as severe storms wrecked havoc in King of Prussia and across Pennsylvania on Monday evening.

Rain water reportedly poured into the The King of Prussia Mall’s first floor, including the food court, and parking garage.

At least one woman had to be rescued from her SUV in the mall’s parking lot, NBC Philadelphia reported.

Flash floods swamped parts of Pennsylvania on August 13, as the National Weather Service (NWS) implemented a flash flood watch, in effect until midnight.

Portions of nearby northern Delaware, northeast Maryland and New Jersey were also under flood advisories. The NWS said that after days of heavy rain, flash flooding was more likely to occur given the saturated soils and elevated streams. Credit: Patrick Herron Jr via Storyful
