Neoprene is a synthetic rubber that is widely used. It is very resistant to degradation, which makes is suitable for technical applications. When we noticed that the axle gaiters of our 2CV's needed to be replaced quite often, we started developing improved versions ourselves. We made sure they fit correctly, and are made of good quality materials.
