Lord Shiva devotees across the country thronged to temples on the occasion of third Monday of the auspicious ‘Sawan’ month on Monday. Babulnath Temple in Girgaon area in Mumbai and Ligaraja Temple in Bhubaneshwar witnessed devotees gathering to offer their prayers. Third Monday of the ‘Sawan’ month is considered to be the luckiest for offering prayers, as it is believed that the distance between Lord Shiva and his bhakts is the least today. Devotees of Lord Shiva across the country visited temples to offer prayers their prayers.
