Overflowing waterways brought garbage to the coastal city of Navotas, in Metro Manila, on Saturday, August 11, as floods inundated the province over the weekend.
This video, shared on August 11, shows flooding and garbage swamped Navotas, a city known as the “fishing capital” of the Philippines.
The widespread flooding reportedly forced more than 1,500 people in the cities of Navotas, Caloocan, Malabon and Valenzuela to evacuate their homes.
