Business Insider reports, that "Rare Andean flamingos in Britain have laid eggs for the first time in 15 years. Experts are speculating it's because of Europe's heat wave.
The Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust said six birds laid nine eggs at its Gloucestershire reserve in southwest England." Researchers say none of the eggs have hatched because the expectant mothers' eggs were not fertilized.
