Study Says Wear Boxers to Keep Sperm Healthy A new Harvard study has confirmed that snug underwear is bad for sperm health. This is because tight, restrictive materials lead to increased
body heat. Sperm require a slightly cooler temperature than the body's resting temperature of 98.6 degrees Fahrenheit to be healthy. Even at a temperature of 98.6 degrees Fahrenheit they begin to lose mobility. The 53% of men surveyed who wore boxers had a 25% higher sperm concentration than those who wore briefs. They also had a 17% higher total sperm count, as well as more
mobile sperm. Lidia Mínguez-Alarcón, Harvard University, via Gizmodo
