A 5.9-magnitude earthquake shook Lombok, Indonesia, on August 9, days after a 7.0-magnitude earthquake killed at least 108 people.

At least 259 people were reported killed after the earthquake on August 9, according to the Republika.

Around 156,000 people were left homeless from the devastation.

The Republika reported that 67,857 homes, three hospitals, 15 mosques, 50 prayer rooms, 468 schools, six bridges and 20 offices were damaged by August 9.
