Pressure is mounting on the UK's former foreign secretary Boris Johnson to apologize for his controversial remarks about Muslim women wearing burqas.
He has faced fierce criticism for comparing women wearing the conservative Islamic dress to letter boxes and bank robbers.
Prime Minister Theresa May joined in the chorus of calls for Johnson to apologize.
"It's very clear that the language Boris Johnson used to describe people's appearance, has caused offence. It's not language I would've used, I think it was wrong to have used that language"
Johnson is yet to issue a response.
