South Korea's National Security Council members met to discuss what can be done to save a Korean man held captive in Libya.
He was kidnapped last month by an armed group that hasn't been identified yet.
The session was led by the president's national security advisor Chung Eui-yong.
Also in attendence were the defense chief and the director of the National Intelligence Service.
Earlier today, the top office announced, President Moon Jae-in is doing everything possible to bring the Korean citizen back home safe.
The man abducted with three of his Filipino colleagues, was working on a water supply project in Libya.
The NSC also took up inter-Korean issues, reviewing the progress made so far on pledges from the Panmunjom Declaration.
