Gung’l was a prolific Hungarian composer of the first generation and like Johann Strauss I toured extensively throughout Europe. He came from a musical family. His popular waltz "Casino Dances" was well known, but this is the first recording. The important flute part, presumed lost, was missing in all the printed editions, and John Georgiadis has recreated this, so that we have for the first time a complete full orchestral performance as close to its original form as possible.

I have a new channel on Daylimotion, where i will post the compositions that are blocked here on Youtube, so you can take a look if want to listen to amazing, beautiful new music (Even some piano concertos series by hyperion!!!) go now! http://www.dailymotion.com/ziehrereien478

Don't forget to subscribe and leave a comment, that would be helpful to improve my channel. Thank you!
