Since introducing the next generation of chicken and waffles to its first Williamsburg location, Sweet Chick has brought the love across the East River to its new recently-opened shop in the Lower East Side. There, hungry visitors can look forward to some of the best homemade fried chicken and waffles New York has to offer as well as a whole 'nother plethora of updated takes on comfort food staples. Moving into the former location of the legendary Max Fish bar, the new spot retains much of the original establishment's character with much of the interior sourced by co-owner John Seymour himself.
