Ingredients:
225 gms Refined flour
20 gms Sugar
5 gms Yeast
25 gms Milk powder
80 ml Water; warm
60 ml Milk; warm
1 tsp Vanilla essence
15 gms Soft Butter -
50 gms Candied papaya /Trutifruti
Pinch of salt
Preheat oven @ 200°C
Method of preparation:
In a large bowl add refined flour, salt, milk powder, mix well.
Create a well in the middle and add yeast, sugar, milk, water, keep it aside for 5-10 minutes.
Mix it together and once it comes together massage it into a soft dough.
Once the dough is nice and soft add vanilla essence, soft butter, massage it well into the dough.
Add Tutti Frutti to the dough and mix it well.
Massage it for few minutes, keep it in the middle of the bowl, cover it with a cloth and keep it aside in a warm place.
Flip the dough, press it and remove all the air pockets.
Transfer the dough on a work table, roll it in a cylinder shape and divide it into equal portions.
Roll the smalls pieces in a circular form and transfer it to a baking tray.
While placing the dough on the tray, leave some space in between, cover it with a cloth and keep it aside to rest.
Brush some milk on the dough, and place it inside a pre-heated oven for 12-15 minutes.
After the buns are ready, apply oil on it.
Our Fruit Buns are baked and ready.
