A 32-year-old man has been charged after he allegedly viciously assaulted a 43-year-old local man in Frankston on July 26.

At about 7:45pm on July 26, the victim was walking along the Nepean Highway at Frankston, when three men approached him head-on and one struck him heavily in the face and neck area, causing him to fall to the ground.

Then man can be seen reacting in shock and pain as the trio walk away from the scene, laughing.
