Palestinian teenager Ahed Tamimi left prison on Sunday after serving eight months for slapping two Israeli soldiers near her home in the West Bank.
The seventeen year-old activist was arrested in December last year,... after a video of her kicking and slapping the soldiers went viral online.
Since then, she has become an icon for Palestinian independence.
She was handed an eight month term in an Israeli prison and a fine of about 14-hundred U.S. dollars,... as part of her plea agreement.
Upon her release,... the seventeen year old said the resistance would continue against the Israeli occupation.
"I can't predict what can happen in the future and I can't talk in depth because I am under probation. Maybe in the future, Palestine will be free. I don't know what will happen in the future. I can't make decisions for the future and I hope that the occupation will leave so I don't even think of doing these things."
