After Alwar lynching rocked the parliament in the ongoing parliament session. The centre is mulling to come up with anti lynching law. The centre has set up a four-member committee headed by union home secretary Rajiv Gauba to suggest measures and legal framework to effectively deal with incidents of mob violence and lynching. The panel will submit its recommendations to a ministerial committee, headed by home minister Rajnath Singh, within four weeks. Meanwhile another case of mob attack has emerged from Udaipur where 2 youths have been brutally thrashed over suspicion of theft in another case from West Bengal. 4 women were disrobed and assaulted by a mob over suspicion of being child lifters. However on the other hand TMC leaders staged protest against lynching outside the parliament. While people continue to be lynched our Netas need to come together and prevent lynching rather than politicising it.
