Former Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak says he isn't sure what the government is trying to achieve by reviewing the New Economic Policy (NEP).

Yesterday, Economic Affairs Minister Azmin Ali said the government may review NEP and New Economic Model (NEM) to see if they are still relevant.

He said the Economic Planning Unit (EPU) has been entrusted with looking into a review of both the NEM and NEP.
