날씨: 기록적 폭염, 열대야
Hello, I'm Michelle Park here with the latest weather update. We've entered the second week of the heatwave that's sweeping the nation, and there are record-breaking highs every day. It's been common to see temperatures exceeding 37 degrees Celsius,... as happened in Gyeongju and Daegu today. And although Seoul isn't as hot as yesterday, the heat is still almost unbearable and ozone levels are high, so please do limit your time outside during the day.
Tomorrow, the nation will be under partly cloudy skies with scorching weather as usual. Beijing is in luck, though, with some rain is in the forecast to cool them off.
Today, in Seoul and Gangneung, it was the hottest morning in 111 years, Seoul hitting a new record of 29.2 degrees Celsius. Tonight won't be as hot as yesterday but the tropical nights continue nationwide. Seoul will start tomorrow morning at 26.
Tomorrow it'll be just as hot as today -- Seoul hitting 36, Daegu 37 and Busan 34 degrees.
Again throughout the week, there's no rain to look forward to,... only more heat in the day and at night.
I'll leave you with the weather conditions around the world.
