According to a report by Reuters, in an apparent attempt to seek aid or sanctuary, dozens of Syrians approached the Israeli border on Tuesday, before being turned back by a warning from Israeli forces. Over the past month, tens of thousands of Syrians have arrived near the Golan Heights border-area, fleeing a rapidly advancing Syrian army offensive. The offensive has reportedly triggered the single largest displacement of the war, with hundreds of thousands of people uprooted from their homes.
