Reuters reports, "A fierce California wildfire crept toward the boundary of Yosemite National Park."
Several firefighters and officials fought to keep small mountain communities protected.
The fire started Friday Night and was named the Ferguson Fire.
Unfortunately, it caused the death of a firefighter the day after.
“The fire continues to grow. There’s a lot of vegetation and it’s very, very dry, there’s a significant amount of beetle kill (in the trees).” Fire Spokeswoman Adrienne Freeman
